Despite his team's defeat, scouts considered Osborne to be the standout player. This has intensified the efforts of clubs to prepare for a potential transfer in the summer. Other teams monitoring him who have also made recent checks on his situation are Leeds United, Aston Villa, Newcastle United, Sunderland, and Fulham. Under current regulations, English clubs could sign Osborne for a compensation fee of less than £250,000.
