A return to FC Carl Zeiss Jena for 25-year-old Alexios Dedidis is being discussed internally at the club after one year at the designated relegated team Hertha 03 Zehlendorf. Dedidis, who was born in Jena and played for the club since childhood, is being considered as an alternative if the current number one goalkeeper departs. He left last summer because Carl Zeiss fully committed to Marius Liesegang, and subsequently became the first-choice goalkeeper in Berlin.
