Real Oviedo is reportedly one of several foreign clubs interested in signing 26-year-old Romanian Centre-Forward Alexandru Ișfan from Farul this summer. This interest follows a good season in which he was the team's top scorer. The vice president of Farul, Tiberiu Kurt, confirmed the interest from the Spanish team. Kurt stated that there have consistently been discussions for Ișfan with multiple clubs from many countries, but clarified that there are no official or concrete negotiations at the moment. He added that Ișfan will leave if the conditions are good for both the club and the player; otherwise, he will continue at Farul as he is under contract. Ișfan joined Farul in July 2025 and has been capped 7 times for the Romania U21 team. According to Transfermarkt, he has a current market value of €750k.
