Bold.dk reports that Sønderjyske has sold Alexander Lyng, a 21-year-old Danish attacking player, to the 1st Division club FC Fredericia. Lyng first joined Sønderjyske in the summer of 2024 on a loan from Swiss club FC Servette, and the deal was made permanent a year ago. He played 58 matches for the club and scored seven goals. Sønderjyske's sporting director, Casper Daather, stated on the club's website that Lyng is moving on to pursue more continuous playing time and a more defined role because he faced significant competition at the club. The former Denmark U20 international has 6 caps and 3 goals. According to Transfermarkt, he has a current market value of €1.20m.
