According to Dionysis Desyllas on bwinSPORT FM 94.6, Panathinaikos has reached a substantial agreement with both Union Berlin and Alex Kral, which will enable the player's arrival in Athens in the coming days. Talks in recent days resulted in both parties reaching an agreement and Kral being positive about continuing his career in Greece. The transfer is expected to be completed within the week, if no unforeseen circumstances occur.

He has lost his starting position at the German club and has made only 8 appearances this season. Panathinaikos is interested in Union Berlin's Alex Král.
