Álex Calatrava Transfer from Castellón to Celta de Vigo
Mundo Deportivo has reported that Celta de Vigo is interested in signing Álex Calatrava as a potential replacement for Fer López. The 25-year-old Calatrava is recognized as a standout player in the Segunda División. Celta de Vigo sees him as a suitable replacement for López. This season, Calatrava has participated in 32 matches, scoring six goals and providing eleven assists. Although he is under contract with Castellón until 2028, Castellón would reportedly be satisfied with a transfer fee of around 3 million euros, despite his release clause being set at 5 million euros. According to 'La Grada', other clubs, including Alavés, Mallorca, and Espanyol, have also expressed interest in the talented player. While Calatrava reportedly prefers Espanyol due to its proximity to his hometown of Parets del Vallès, he remains open to the possibility of joining Celta de Vigo.
