Südtirol are considering signing free agent goalkeeper Alessio Cragno to add another keeper to their squad. The club has initiated contact with the experienced player but is now considering the transfer. Before proceeding, Südtirol wants to be certain about Cragno's physical condition due to his long inactivity and a serious Achilles tendon injury he suffered last June. This injury caused him to miss the playoff return match against Salernitana last season and contributed to him being without a team this summer. Cragno, who made 15 appearances for Sampdoria last year, has significant experience from his 170 Serie A and 105 Serie B appearances.
