S.S. Audace Cerignola S.r.l. has announced the temporary acquisition of goalkeeper Alessandro Russo from U.S. Sassuolo Calcio, a move also reported by Tuttomercato. The player was born in 2001 and developed in the youth systems of Genoa and later Sassuolo. Russo has experience in Serie B and Serie C, as well as a period playing in Belgium. He has made his Serie A debut with Sassuolo and has represented Italy up to the Under-21 level, for which he has one cap. During the first half of the 2025/2026 season, Russo made 12 league appearances while on loan at Giugliano Calcio 1928. He is immediately available to the manager. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €300k.
