Alessandro Murgia is set to leave Universitatea Cluj and return to his native country. The 29-year-old Italian midfielder, who joined the club in July 2025, did not travel to the training camp in Austria and is negotiating with several teams from Serie B and Serie C. Although he had a contract until the summer of 2027, both parties reached an agreement to terminate the contract. Murgia, who has 14 caps and one goal for Italy's U21 team, made 19 appearances and scored one goal in the SuperLiga last season. His current Transfermarkt market value is €650k.
