Alessandro Romano Transfer from Roma U20 to Pescara
Pescara and Spezia have been following Roma's young Swiss-Italian defensive midfielder Alessandro Romano (19) for some time, but they now face competition from a Serie A club. Cagliari has renewed its interest in the 2006-born player, whom they had also monitored in previous transfer windows. Roma is understood to be open to a transfer, but a suitable arrangement must be found, with Cagliari reportedly seeking a deal that includes at least an option to buy or a permanent acquisition. Romano, who has one cap for the Switzerland U20 national team, is under contract until June 2027. In the current 2025/2026 season, he has made one appearance in Serie A, adding to his 13 appearances, 3 goals, and 2 assists in the Primavera 1 youth league. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €500k. A potential transfer to Torino in July 2025 was reportedly valued between €6 million and €7 million.
