A source familiar with the situation has reported that Lokomotiv Moskva has discussed personal contract terms with Rostov's 26-year-old Russian midfielder Aleksei Mironov. The same source added that manager Galaktionov wants the player at the club, where he is viewed as a replacement for Artyom Karpukas. The transfer of Mironov will only be possible after Karpukas is sold, as the Moscow club currently lacks available funds. Karpukas has reportedly already agreed to personal terms with Zenit and is waiting for the clubs to finalize his transfer. Mironov's current employment contract with Rostov is valid until the summer of 2027. The Transfermarkt portal indicates his market value is €1.8 million. Mironov joined Rostov in July 2022 and in the 2025/2026 Premier Liga season, he made 28 appearances, scoring 2 goals and providing 2 assists.
