Football agent Timur Gurtskaya revealed that a Saudi club, Neom, was ready to buy the 20-year-old midfielder Alexey Batrakov from Lokomotiv for €30 million and offer him a salary of €3 million per year. However, the proposal did not reach Lokomotiv because Gurtskaya mentioned that Batrakov was unlikely to consider moving to Saudi Arabia.

Yuri Nagornykh, the chairman of the board of directors of Lokomotiv, revealed that an unnamed Russian club tried to entice midfielder Aleksei Batrakov before he renewed his contract. There were also interests from foreign clubs. However, Lokomotiv announced the contract extension with Batrakov on June 9, and they stated that they would not let him go this season for any amount of money. Batrakov has been with Lokomotiv since he was 6 years old and played 37 matches last season, scoring 15 goals and providing 10 assists. His market value is €12 million according to Transfermarkt.

Andrey Arshavin stated that Alexey Batrakov could potentially move to a European club if he continues to perform exceptionally. Arshavin mentioned that if Batrakov has another outstanding period or scores two goals against a strong team like Argentina, his chances of moving to Europe will increase. However, if he performs only averagely, no one will pay attention to him.

Kuzmichev also reported receiving calls from people representing half of the Bundesliga teams. However, these discussions quickly ended as the intermediaries were merely gathering information to understand what steps to take in case of interest.

Aleksey Batrakov is currently playing in the Russian Premier Liga for Lokomotive Moskau. He has scored ten goals and provided six assists, which makes him a potential candidate for a transfer.
