Aleksandar Stankovic Transfer from Club Brugge to Tottenham Hotspur

Voetbalnieuws.be has reported that Tottenham, Arsenal, Newcastle, Dortmund, and Leverkusen have inquired about Club Brugge player Aleksandar Stankovic. It is also reported that Inter plan to use their buy-back clause after this season.

According to Team Talk, Tottenham Hotspur have made an enquiry about Aleksandar Stankovic.

According to Calciomercato.it, Tottenham is currently the most serious option for Aleksandar Stankovic. The publication also states that sporting director Fabio Paratici is described as a great admirer of the player and has already privately gathered the necessary information.

Tottenham Hotspur's sporting director, Fabio Paratici, is searching for new midfield talent. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the club has identified 20-year-old Serbian-Italian Alexander Stankovic as a potential long-term solution. Stankovic joined Club Brugge from Inter's academy this summer in a €9.5 million deal and has quickly become a regular starter. Any potential move is complicated by Inter holding two buyback clauses. The first is for €23 million in the summer of 2026, and it is reported that Inter plans to activate it. The second clause is for €25 million in 2027. Due to these clauses, a deal for Tottenham is considered highly unlikely at this stage. Stankovic has been capped three times by Serbia and his contract at Club Brugge runs until June 2029. His current market value is €13.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
