Aleksandar Stankovic Transfer from Club Brugge to Inter

Inter is seriously considering bringing Aleksandar Stankovic back and sees him as the ideal successor for Hakan Calhanoglu. The club has a buy-back clause allowing them to re-sign Stankovic next summer for a fee of around 23 million euros. On Tuesday, an Inter scout was present at the Atalanta match to monitor Stankovic's progress.

Inter is monitoring the development of 20-year-old Serbian midfielder Aleksandar Stankovic, having sent an emissary to watch him play in the match between Atalanta and Bruges. The club holds a buy-back option for the midfielder that is valid until 2027, with the fee set at 23 million euros for July 2026 and 25 million euros for the season after. Club Brugge acquired Stankovic for 10 million euros in August, in a deal that also included a clause giving Inter 12% of a future resale in the first year and 15% in the second. Following a strong season with Lucerna in Switzerland, his performances have also drawn interest from more than one Bundesliga club, as highlighted by Tuttosport. Stankovic is under contract with the Belgian club until 2029 and has a current market value of €11 million, according to Transfermarkt.
