Spanish left-back Alejandro Baldé, 22, is reportedly set to leave Barcelona as he is not a priority for coach Hansi Flick, and the club is willing to consider offers. The player, who had initially been resistant to a move, has changed his stance as the end of the summer transfer window approaches. Jorge Mendes is handling the next step in Baldé's career and Barcelona's initial asking price of around €40 million will be lowered because it was difficult to obtain. Benfica is the first club to make an approach for the player, with a potential offer not expected to exceed €20 million. In the Premier League, Baldé's name has also been associated with Manchester United and Aston Villa. It is reported that Aston Villa needs to sell a player before they can pursue a deal. Baldé has 7 caps for Spain, and his contract with Barcelona runs until 2028. His current market value, according to Transfermarkt, is €50 million. Reports from mid-2026 consistently valued the player between €50 million and €70 million.
