Aldin Jakupović Transfer from Bravo to Holstein Kiel

Nineteen-year-old Slovenian forward Aldin Jakupović has transferred from Bravo to the German second-division club Holstein Kiel, signing a contract valid until 2030. Prior to the transfer, Jakupović had been with the Ljubljana club for only a few months. According to some unofficial information, Bravo earned 400 thousand from the deal. Jakupović stated that the move from his home in Slovenia to the German second league is a significant step, and that he is convinced Holstein Kiel is the correct club for him. He also said the club has a history of showing trust in young players who have developed well there, and he wants to follow that example to progress personally and as a player while helping the team. Olaf Rebbe, the sporting director for Holstein Kiel, described Jakupović as possessing exceptional speed, an ability to finish with either foot, and significant determination. Rebbe added that the player will be given time to adapt and will strengthen the squad as a challenger in an attacking role. Jakupović will wear the number 18 shirt. The Slovenia U21 international has 3 caps for his country and recorded 5 goals and 1 assist in 16 Prva Liga appearances this season. His market value is currently listed as €250k by Transfermarkt.
