Sampdoria is searching for a goalkeeper for the upcoming season. According to Repubblica, the club's sporting director Americo Branco has targeted 33-year-old Italian goalkeeper Alberto Paleari. Paleari was a starter for Torino last season and could depart, as his club has reportedly moved to sign Brazilian goalkeeper Lucas Perri from Leeds. This could allow Paleari to find a new club, and Serie B is mentioned as a potential destination. Sampdoria is evaluating Paleari as an option for their goalkeeping situation, but other profiles may emerge. Paleari joined Torino in July 2024, and his contract is valid until June 2027. His current market value is €1.20m, according to Transfermarkt.
