A report regarding AEK's interest in Italian goalkeeper Alberto Paleari is considered to be well-founded. Information confirms that AEK's Xavi Roca is in an advanced stage of talks with the 34-year-old, who has one year left on his contract with Torino, which he joined in July 2024, but wishes to continue his career elsewhere. Paleari's desire to leave is due to being demoted to third-choice goalkeeper after being Torino's first choice in Serie A last season, making 29 appearances. Although Roca has other names on his list, the Paleari case is reportedly being prioritized. The matter is described as being at a very advanced stage, with Roca awaiting the goalkeeper's agreement to finalize the last roster spot. If the negotiations are successful, it would be the first time Paleari has played outside of Italy. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt at €1.20m.
