Racing de Santander has made an offer of 250,000 euros to acquire the contract of 23-year-old Moroccan goalkeeper Alaa Bellaarouch. There is serious interest from the Spanish club. The offer presented is considered insufficient by the administration of the Portuguese club Sporting Braga. Racing de Santander has officially contacted Braga to propose a loan for Bellaarouch. The young goalkeeper, who has yet to make an appearance in Liga Portugal for the 2025/2026 season, is in favor of a move to Spain, in order to benefit from regular playing time and continue his development. The final decision lies with the management of Braga, who must rule on this proposal. Bellaarouch, who has been capped 8 times for Morocco's U23 team, joined Braga in July 2025 and has a contract until June 2030, with a current Transfermarkt market value of €400k.
