Agustín Rogel leaving Hertha BSC?

Agustín Rogel, who was recently with SC Internacional in Brazil, has returned to Berlin and completed the required tests. He has a contract until 2026 but is expected to leave the club.

Bild reports on Hertha BSC's potential player sales, including Agustin Rogel, to fund a new striker acquisition. Agustin Rogel is among the players Hertha BSC might sell to raise funds for a new striker acquisition.

Internacional Porto Alegre is unlikely to exercise the purchase option for Agustín Rogel, who is currently on loan. Rogel, a 27-year-old center-back, has a contract with Hertha BSC until 2026. He has a market presence in both South America and Europe.

The 26-year-old defender, who only played four games for Hertha's second team last season due to injuries, will join the Brazilian top-flight club SC Internacional for one year. At the Porto Alegre club, the Uruguayan will meet two old acquaintances from the Bundesliga. Former Eintracht Frankfurt players Lucas Alario and Rafael Borré have been playing together for the 2007 FIFA Club World Cup champion since 2023.

Argentinian club Estudiantes de La Plata intends to hold talks with Hertha BSC next week to bring back Agustin Rogel, who no longer plays a role in Berlin despite having a contract until 2026.
