Wojciech Cygan, chairman of Raków Częstochowa's supervisory board, expressed interest in Afonso Sousa, stating that he would be a good addition to their team. However, he also acknowledged that the transfer is more of a dream since Lech Poznań demands a transfer fee of six million euro, which Raków is unlikely to pay. Sousa is under contract with Lech until June 30, 2026.
