Adrian Mazilu's agent, Giovanni Becali, stated that he will try to find a new team for the player in the winter so that Mazilu can get more playing time. Mazilu has a contract with Dinamo until 2029. Giovanni Becali said a solution must be found in the winter to give Mazilu a chance to play every match. Becali added that it should be for a minimum of six months to play 15-20 matches, and that the team that would take him would not do so to keep him on the bench.

It was rumored that Dinamo was seeking to loan Adrian Mazilu to a new team so he could get playing time at the highest level. Ultimately, Mazilu remained at Dinamo under coach Nuno Campos.
