Hammarby had wanted to renew Adrian Lahdo's contract but did not receive a positive response. Como was described as extremely determined to secure Adrian Lahdo immediately, and this determination was reflected in the economic agreement with Hammarby.

Adrian Lahdo has arrived from Hammarby for a fee of around €10 million. Como's director of football, Carlalberto Ludi, described Adrian Lahdo as a box-to-box midfielder and highlighted that Como secured the player at the end of the transfer window. According to Tuttomercato, Como 1907 have announced the permanent signing of Swedish midfielder Adrian Lahdo from Hammarby IF, with a contract valid until 2031. Lahdo, a class of 2007 player, signed his first professional contract in 2024 and debuted in the Allsvenskan in the same year. In 2025, he played in two matches for Hammarby IF in the UEFA Conference League qualifiers.

Hammarby confirmed on its website that Serie A club Como has bought Adrian Lahdo. Hammarby also confirmed this is the biggest transfer in the club's history. According to Fabrizio Romano, the midfielder will cost Como approximately 12 million euros.
