KV Mechelen announced that they are adding Adeshina Ayodele to their attack. The 20-year-old Nigerian striker was offered an agreement until 2029 with an option. Ayodele is being signed from Lille, where he played for the B team in recent seasons. He did not have an opportunity with the first team there and now hopes to be able to take that opportunity at Mechelen.

Piotr Koźmiński z Goal.pl stated that certain indications suggest Adeshina Ayodele is of interest to Rakow Czestochowa. According to the same source, the Nigerian player is attracting interest from several Ekstraklasa clubs. Ayodele is a 19-year-old striker currently playing for the reserves of Lille. Ayodele joined Lille in summer 2024 after a successful Viareggio Cup with Beyond Limits Academy. His current employer does not rule out a loan with an option to buy. His contract is due to expire on 30/06/2029. In the 2025/2026 season, Ayodele has scored 7 goals and provided 6 assists in 17 appearances for his team in the National 3 - Grp. E.
