Fleetwood Town have signed 21-year-old Bristol City midfielder Adam Murphy on a six-month loan deal. The midfielder made five appearances during a loan spell with Swindon Town last season and is a Republic of Ireland Under-21 international with nine caps. Murphy could make his debut for Fleetwood Town against Gillingham on Saturday. He said that after he spoke to the manager, who outlined what he wanted him to do and how he wants the team to play, he felt it aligned with the strengths he could bring.
