Grimberg has Romanian origins and is reportedly in the final stages of obtaining a Romanian passport. According to the Israeli publication One, the player is under contract with his club until the end of the next season and is also being monitored by other teams in Europe. Zeljko Kopic, Dinamo's coach, mentioned to Radio Dinamo 1948 that the club's scouting department assesses young Romanian players who compete abroad, including in Israel. The potential transfer of Grimberg would not be the first for Dinamo from Israeli football, as another player from Maccabi Haifa, Lisav Eissat, is also on their list.
