The player has a year left on his contract with Cercle Brugge, with an option for an additional year. Negotiations between the clubs are ongoing, with Toulouse showing significant interest. The bid for Francis, who is currently valued at €1.80 million by Transfermarkt, comes as Cercle Brugge seeks to address their annual financial shortfall, which is estimated to be between 10 to 15 million euros. The club has already raised 6.5 million euros during this transfer window, and selling Abu Francis could further contribute to this amount. Francis joined Cercle Brugge three years ago from FC Nordsjaelland for a fee of 500,000 euros.
