On Wednesday, Kolding IF announced via its website the sale of Abdoulie Njai to FC Helsingør, who are currently last in the 2nd division. The 28-year-old winger made 42 appearances for Kolding, having joined from Næstved Boldklub two years ago. Head of Football Niklas Nürnberg stated that Njai's role had developed over the past year in a way that was unsatisfactory for both the player and the club. Nürnberg added that it was therefore natural to look for a situation where Njai could again become a key player. He expressed his happiness that a good solution was found for everyone, though he noted the player would be missed.
