Abdoulaye Faye, a 21-year-old Senegalese centre-back, is a candidate for a loan. He developed significantly during his time at FC Lorient. Bayer could already receive 20 million euros for Faye. Faye joined Bayer 04 Leverkusen in July 2025, and his contract is valid until 2030. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €4.50m.
