Wan-Bissaka stated to the BBC that he only wanted to join when he felt mentally and professionally ready to give 100% to the Leopards. For years, Aaron Wan-Bissaka had waited for an England call-up, but the DR Congo's persistence and their presence in his South London neighborhood persuaded him. Wan-Bissaka also told the BBC that it is his country, that his parents come from there, that he grew up in a Congolese household and is proud to represent it.
