Rapid Vienna and Spartak Moscow are both interested in Aziz Kayondo, a 23-year-old Ugandan central defender who plays for Slovan Liberec. The Austrian club, Rapid Vienna, is seeking to strengthen its defense and has targeted the defender as a potential replacement should Phillipe Raux Yao leave. The club views Kayondo as fitting the explosive profile it desires. Spartak Moscow has also held discussions to sign the player, whom they believe can provide speed and impact, though no agreement has been reached yet.
