According to Sacha Tavolieri, a transfer is being arranged for 22-year-old Belgian defender Zeno Van Den Bosch, who is expected to move to the Bundesliga. The six-time Jonge Duivel reportedly has a personal agreement with FC Union Berlin, the current ninth-placed team in the German league. Van den Bosch's contract with Royal Antwerp FC expires at the end of the season, which would allow him to move for free in the summer. Antwerp had attempted to keep him with a new contract offer in recent weeks but was unsuccessful. A deal could potentially be reached for the defender to move to Berlin this winter for a modest transfer fee.
Tavolieri reported that the German club has agreed on personal terms with Van den Bosch, who has six months left on his contract, and that a contract until June 2030 is ready for him. Van den Bosch, who joined Antwerp in July 2022, has a current market value of €8.00m, according to Transfermarkt. This season, he has made 19 appearances in the Jupiler Pro League. The player has previously attracted interest from other clubs, including Fiorentina. In August 2025, Lecce reportedly submitted a bid of approximately €5 million, while Antwerp's asking price for the player was a reported €10 million in early 2025.
