Zenit rejected a 45 million euro offer from Al Ittihad for Luiz Henrique, a 25-year-old Brazilian winger, and has decided not to negotiate his departure. The Saudi club was the most recent to attempt to sign the player. Roma also recently had a proposal rejected that could have reached 43 million euros, comprising 38 million in fixed fees and 5 million in bonuses. Brazilian clubs Botafogo and Flamengo also recently attempted to sign the attacker.
ESPN reported that Flamengo's offer was for 35 million euros, with 30 million fixed, but the deal did not proceed because Zenit demanded the fee upfront while the Brazilian side wanted to pay in installments. Botafogo's attempt to include players in the deal also did not proceed. The Brazil international, who has 16 caps and 2 goals for his country, joined Zenit from Botafogo in January 2025 for a fee reported as €33 million and his contract runs until the end of 2028. Throughout mid-2026, Zenit's asking price was reportedly between €35 million and €40 million. His current Transfermarkt market value is €24.00m.
