Wolverhampton Wanderers reportedly still have 24-year-old Brazilian forward André Luiz under consideration, despite the club's relegation to the Championship. Wolves had also wanted the player in the previous January transfer window before he joined Olympiakos Piraeus. The club is said to be preparing its next moves but faces competition from Sunderland and Shakhtar Donetsk, who have also shown strong interest in the attacker.

According to information, his current club Olympiacos has already rejected some offers for Luiz, as the manager and the club plan for him to be part of the team for the upcoming season. In the 2025/2026 season, Luiz made 19 appearances in Liga Portugal, scoring 7 goals and providing 6 assists, and subsequently made 5 more appearances and provided 1 assist for Olympiacos in the Super League 1. His contract with the Greek club is valid until June 2030, and his current market value is €6.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
