West Ham United are reportedly interested in 20-year-old Jens Hjerto-Dahl ahead of the summer, but face competition from a number of other clubs on the continent, including Hamburger SV and Wolves. Liverpool have also previously monitored the Norwegian midfielder, whose recent form of four goals in two league games for Tromso has attracted attention.
In January, Hjerto-Dahl rejected a reported approach from Besiktas as he anticipated offers from leagues more suitable for his career. During that month, Tromso are also said to have turned down an offer of 100 million Kroner for the player. The Norwegian club is now expected to demand around 150 million Kroner (£11.7 million), a valuation that might be within an affordable range for interested teams like West Ham. The Norway U21 international's contract with Tromsø is valid until the end of 2029 and his market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €7.00m.
