Watford's 27-year-old Moroccan international midfielder, Imrân Louza, has reportedly asked to leave the club twice in recent weeks. He has been linked with Paris FC, Ajax, Crystal Palace, West Ham, and Southampton. It is understood that Watford is now demanding a fee of around 10 million euros.

Panathinaikos has also shown interest, has been monitoring the player for some time, and has made an exploratory move, although the Greek club is aware that a deal would be difficult to complete. Louza, who has 15 caps and 2 goals for Morocco, joined Watford in July 2021 for a reported €10 million and his contract runs until June 2028. His market value is listed as €14 million by Transfermarkt. The current asking price is a decrease from a reported £15 million price tag between April and June 2026. In January 2026, the club reportedly rejected an offer of approximately €4 million from Brighton.
