Trabzonspor has reportedly submitted an offer for Göztepe's 21-year-old Nigerian midfielder, Anthony Dennis. Göztepe has set an initial asking price of 7 million Euro for the player, who joined the club in July 2023 and has attracted interest from European clubs with his performances over the last two and a half seasons. In the 2025/2026 Süper Lig season, Dennis made 31 appearances and scored 3 goals.
It is noted that Trabzonspor's position in the transfer is considered strong as no offers have yet arrived from Europe, although clubs such as Villarreal, FSV Mainz 05, and Beşiktaş have been linked with him previously. Negotiations between the two clubs are expected to commence in the upcoming days. Manager Fatih Tekke is keen on adding Dennis, whose contract runs until June 2027, to his squad, and it is understood that the club will make a strong effort to complete the deal. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €8.00m.
