Toulouse, Club Brugge, and Genoa have gathered information on Miguel Chaiwa, a 21-year-old Zambian midfielder from Hibernian, and Celtic has been monitoring him for a longer period. According to Scottish reports, Hibernian would rather keep the player but is open to a sale, preferably to a foreign team over another club in Scotland.
Hibernian signed Chaiwa from Young Boys for approximately 800,000 euro on a contract that runs until May 2028 and includes a club option for an additional year. His market value on Transfermarkt is 3.0 million euro, but the price is expected to increase due to widespread interest. There is currently no official asking price; however, a fee of several million euros is considered more probable than a transfer at his market value. The Zambian international has 16 caps for his country and made 28 appearances in the Scottish Premiership during the 2025/2026 season, scoring one goal.
