Tottenham Hotspur has placed the 29-year-old Brazilian centre-forward Richarlison on its transfer list and has set a minimum price of €20 million to begin negotiations for a sale, having ruled out any loan deals. One of the clubs that has demonstrated interest is Shabab Al Ahli, from the United Arab Emirates, which is managed by André Jardine. The Middle Eastern market is currently the most appealing destination for the player, who has little interest in returning to Brazilian football.
During the transfer window, the London club rejected two offers from Turkish club Trabzonspor, one for a fixed €15 million and another for €15 million with a potential €5 million in add-ons. Richarlison is in the final year of his contract and can sign a pre-contract agreement with a new club starting in January. Richarlison, who has 54 caps and 20 goals for Brazil, joined Tottenham from Everton in July 2022 for a reported €58 million and has made one appearance in the Premier League this season. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €25 million.
