Thierno Barry, a 23-year-old French striker, could leave Everton after his debut season. TSG Hoffenheim and RB Leipzig are reportedly in talks with the club. In his first season, he scored 8 goals in 38 Premier League appearances. The Bundesliga sides finished fifth and third respectively.
Everton wants to at least recoup the 30 million euros they paid for Barry. The club is believed to be aiming for a fee between 35 and 40 million euros. RB Leipzig had previously scouted the player and may now act on the situation. Barry has a contract until 2029 and is reportedly not willing to accept a lower salary. The forward has been capped 8 times for France's U21 team, scoring once. He joined Everton in July 2025 from Villarreal for a reported base fee between €32 million and €35 million.
