Sheffield United are reportedly considering a move for Rabbi Matondo, which would allow the former Rangers winger to return to the UK. The club is among those evaluating an offer for the 25-year-old Welsh international, as manager Chris Wilder seeks to improve his left-wing options. Matondo has been made available for transfer by the Norwegian club Brann, months after his contract with Rangers was terminated to let him join Brann in March.

He made three appearances for Brann, all from the bench. Brann's sporting director, Per-Ove Ludvigsen, told Bergens Tidende that for now, the club assumes Matondo has a contract until the end of the year and that they will see how the situation develops for all parties in the near future. Matondo has 15 caps and one goal for Wales. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €900k.
