Naby Keïta of Ferencváros, a 31-year-old Guinean international, is reportedly connected with Sabah, a club that has qualified for the Champions League group stage. According to the player's agent, Szulejman Yula, negotiations are ongoing between the two clubs, and Sabah is willing to sign the midfielder. However, Yula clarified that the Azerbaijani club has not yet made an official approach to the player himself. Keïta has one year left on his contract with Ferencváros.
The agent also reported that he had spoken with Keïta, who does not currently intend to change clubs and plans to stay at Ferencváros at least until his contract ends. While Yula noted that the future is unpredictable, he stated that this is the current situation and he does not believe the player will change his mind soon. The deadline for Champions League squad registration has passed, which makes a transfer less likely. Keïta joined the Hungarian club in January 2026 and has earned 58 caps for Guinea, scoring 12 goals. His current Transfermarkt market value is €1.50m.
