Roma is targeting Fiorentina's 31-year-old left-back, Robin Gosens, for the upcoming summer, and he is viewed as one of at least four players of interest at the club. Gosens, who was previously a key player under manager Gasperini at Atalanta, is considered well-suited for the coach's formation. The German international has 24 caps and two goals for his country. He had also been linked with a move to Roma a year prior before deciding to stay in Florence.
He joined Fiorentina in July 2025 on a contract that runs until 2028, and Nottingham Forest has also been linked with him. According to Transfermarkt, his current valuation is €4.50m. Fiorentina signed him for a reported €7.0 million in July 2025, and in February 2026 Nottingham Forest reportedly made a significant offer.
