Juventus is already seeking a new destination for Loïs Openda in the next summer transfer window, after making his signing permanent for over €40 million. The 26-year-old Belgian centre-forward had a difficult season, scoring two goals in 36 appearances. A full international for Belgium with 33 caps and 3 goals, Openda has a current market value of €32.00m according to Transfermarkt.
One potential option is Rennes, coached by Franck Haise, with whom Openda worked well at Lens. It is reported that the French club would be interested in signing him again if they qualify for the next Champions League. Premier League side Bournemouth could also become a potential destination, particularly if Marco Rose, who managed Openda at Leipzig, takes over as their new coach. Reports from March and April 2026 cited the permanent transfer fee at figures between €40M and €47M. This transfer followed his previous €43M move from Lens to RB Leipzig in July 2023.
