Elliot Anderson, a 23-year-old English midfielder from Nottingham Forest, has been linked with Real Madrid and top Premier League teams. Manchester City is actively pursuing the player.
Manchester City has reportedly had two substantial offers rejected, with the first being for over €100 million in early June. According to Fabrizio Romano, a second bid of £106 million plus £15 million in variables was also rejected by Nottingham Forest. It is understood that Nottingham Forest is seeking over £120 million.
Manchester United has also been connected with the player. ESPN suggests a transfer to Manchester City is more probable. United's interest was reportedly limited to a valuation of around €94m.
