Nigerian international Bruno Onyemaechi, 27, is of interest to Real Betis before the January transfer window. This is not the first time the player has attracted interest from Spain, as Las Palmas and Getafe were previously interested in him during his time at Boavista, with Las Palmas having made an official approach to the Portuguese club. Olympiacos, who signed Onyemaechi for €2.5 million in a deal that included a 10% sell-on clause for Boavista, now has an asking price of six million euros.
The club has communicated this valuation to the market previously, both last January and in the summer, as they do not consider him a supplementary player but rather a valuable asset. While Real Betis is monitoring the defender, there is currently no concrete offer or active transfer negotiation. Onyemaechi has 32 caps for Nigeria, and his contract with the Greek club runs until June 2028. His current Transfermarkt market value is €2.50m.
