Rangers appear set to sign PSV Eindhoven winger Couhaib Driouech, a 24-year-old Moroccan and Dutch player. MLS outfit Colorado Rapids and Celta Vigo had also been interested in signing him. The Glasgow club, which was previously interested in the player during his time at Excelsior, reached an €8m agreement with the Dutch side. This agreement followed the rejection of an initial bid that was close to the asking price of €8m to €8.5m.
Driouech has agreed to a four-year deal and is expected in Glasgow on Tuesday for medical examinations. He joined PSV from Excelsior in July 2024 for a fee that was reported as €3.5 million. He has nine caps for Morocco's U23 national team, and his market value is currently €7.50m, according to Transfermarkt.
