Rangers are making a late attempt to sign Stuttgart winger Badredine Bouanani on loan, as the club looks to add another right winger before the 5pm deadline. The club is attempting to bring the 21-year-old Algerian, who it has monitored, to Glasgow on deadline day. Rangers are close to finalising a deal for the player.

Bouanani, who previously played for Lille and Nice, moved to the Bundesliga for £13 million last year and is now available for loan. He scored two goals in 32 appearances last season. The winger has five caps for Algeria, is under contract with the German club until 2030, and has a current market value of €10.00m, according to Transfermarkt. Several other clubs, including Werder Bremen and Strasbourg, have also been linked with a loan move for the player.
