Raja Casablanca and Stade Rennais are among the clubs interested in signing 33-year-old Senegal international midfielder Nampalys Mendy from Watford. Polish club Arka Gdynia has also been mentioned as being interested, despite the club's president having previously downplayed the connection, describing it as more of an exploration and expressing his belief that it would not result in anything.
The initial link to Arka Gdynia was reported by Sébastien Denis of Footmercato.net. Another source subsequently suggested that talks concerning a potential loan move to Poland were ongoing. Mendy's contract with Watford is set to expire on June 30th of the current year, although it includes an option for an extension. The midfielder has been capped 35 times for his country, joined Watford in August 2025 and has made 7 appearances in the Championship this season. His current Transfermarkt valuation is €1.20m.
