PSV was mentioned as a possible destination for Belgian centre-forward Romelu Lukaku. Presenter Damian Vlottes suggested the club might need a new striker because Ricardo Pepi is expected to leave after the World Cup, and also proposed Joshua Zirkzee of Manchester United as another option. Lukaku, who is 33, is permitted to leave Napoli and has one year left on his contract. Teams in Turkey and Saudi Arabia are also reportedly interested.

According to recent reports from April and May 2026, Napoli's asking price is between €10 million and €20 million. His transfer from Chelsea in August 2024 was for a reported €30 million.
